This night is getting worse by the minute for HIAG, first the Spuds were 'slaughtered' in Dortmund, then he made his **** up about Dortmund taking us apart, when we'd beat them 2-0 the last time we played them and to rub salt into the wounds, Liverpool have just gone 1-0 too
I'm sure I will survive a 'Pool win. It would kinda be great for them to get through, with all the attendant media fanfare, only for them to be taken apart piece-by-piece by a proper team, in the last 8.
Poor old Piskie. I do believe that he's gotten himself worked up into quite a frenzy tonight. Not quite at the frothing at the mouth stage of IQ87 mind you, but could still be a hazard to his heart rate.
Well, I predicted that Arsenal would be handed their arses by Barca at the Library, and I predict that the same will happen at Camp Nou. So, I'm not that bad at it, Pixie.
I love the way you cling on to your hope that I'm wound up, it tells me that you're flouncing because you're rattled.
Specifically though, you said that Dortmund would take us apart, and the last time we played them we beat them 2-0 There's no back tracking on this one I'm afraid mate.
Specifically, this Arsenal side is a shadow of last season's side. If we can't beat Dortmund, no chance that any team below us would be able to.
Me? Rattled?? it's a ****ing football match! You, on the other hand, have invaded every thread on this board ranting on about HIAG & Spurs.
Like I said, Lee, it's a football match. Not life and death as some twats on here seem to think it is!...
Passive aggressive anger?.. Surely that's a contradiction in terms? Although I'm sure some 'progressive' psychotherapist will try to tell me otherwise.
Passive aggressive is a common term to describe the behaviour of somebody who is angry and tries to conceal it in a passive manner. A bit like you saying 'it's only a game' before angrily calling people names in the sentence.
Disappointed, yes. I thought we were supposed to be taking this more seriously and tonight's starting lineup was not what I expected to see. Surprised?, no. Dortmund are one or Europe's top sides.
