That's rubbish! You can't deny we are b awful out there tonight and we have just got what we deserved !
I do think 4-4-2 was naive tonight. We knew they'd pack the midfield, so to give two bodies away wasn't the smartest. It's also not a system we've played recently, when the 4-3-3 was looking promising. (I know I said earlier I liked it, but I expected Elmander to be a lot deeper.)
If CH knew West Ham would line up this way, and I am guessing he should have, based on what everyone has said about the 4-6-0 formation, then why the bloody hell has he chosen this game to go back to 4-4-2? Is he really tactically inept, as some have suggested?
