Thank god, 1-1 and it's Jonny Howson! And still Adams and Holt stand there with their bloody arms crossed.
I understand blaming Adams for this and that, but surely the players can motivate themselves for a match? They look devoid of all passion and will to win. Surely they want to win? At least their goal has woken them up a bit. First bit of movement and we score.
I really, really don't rate Grabban. I hope he proves me wrong but I don't see what he adds to the team. He's just been lucky with deflections to get as many goals as he has. Good to see Jonson back in the team looking determined, although dropping Gaz O seemed a little harsh.
I hate to say it and I know I will get flamed by some for saying it - but I think this would be the right option. I really like the guy, after all he has done for the club in years gone by, but it does appear that the ship's rudder is not working properly.
They should be, but that is never considered when it comes to firing a manager, or maybe it is, and the manager is deemed to be at fault for not getting them sufficiently motivated. After all, that is part of his job I would imagine.
We need to see more quality in the second half - the attacking intent is there but we certainly haven't seen our attacking players playing at their best so far...
I agree 100%, but it easier to replace one man than it is 5, 6, 7 or more... That's the cold & harsh truth, but I have little sympathy as managers know this before they take a job.
Just seen a replay of the Brighton goal, defensively we're all over the place. Turner out wide gets easily beaten by the winger, then it's Olsson against the striker at the back post, Hooiveld in no-man's land. What was Rusty up to?
Agreed and it has always been the way. If a team is not performing take the easy option and sack the manager.
Could be, and playing out of his best position doesn't bloody help. This is why IT IS THE MANAGER'S fault, right back at centre half, Centre forward (when selected), played on the wing etc etc
