Agree with this. Snods was our PoTS last year, but his slow build-up doesn't suit the way Adams wants to play. Pilks, Redmond, EB and Josh Murphy do.
Don't worry about it Guru, we know football chat is out of your comfort zone, you can only just about manage put downs!
I must admit Dave, I will be worried if I start posting at 5.30 in the morning calling Norwich a ****hole.
The teams that started the 1st and 2nd halves would be able to hold their own in the Championship which was quite reassuring especially as Tettey and Fer arguably 2 of our best midfielders didn`t even feature. Yes it was only a tin pot outfit we played last night but i`m pretty sure that the other 23 clubs in this division would consider signing anyone from our squad as an improvement on what they have. I may be too positive but i expect us to fight for the title with Fulham next season with the players we have at the moment, Lafferty looks the real deal and i`m expecting big things from him.
Well said SN23, and you could add Pilks as missing last night due to illness. Lafferty and Grabban seem to have settled in quickly and I'm really looking forward to the new season now.
The great thing is that there in now a definite shift in the attitude of the management team. Willingness to experiment and try new styles being just one instance. I, for one, am feeling a lot more positive for the upcoming season.
Definitely agree with that, I can imagine him being Adams type of player so I hope and expect him to feature heavily this season.
I think that's true and I don't think we've recognized the fact that Adams has been involved with City for a long time. He knows what worked and what didn't under both Lambert and Hughton and is using that knowledge now. At Braintreee, Wes, Surman, Howson and Johnson seemed to play the diamond as if they'd never left off.
