Sorry but we are playing well enough that we should have won almost all of our games this season. Just poor finishing and we are being punished everytime we make a slight mistake!
I agree DM. The performance was good enough but not enough to break down a packed defense. On the plus side, Howson was excellent all through, Hooper is getting sharper, and Odjidja looked sharp in his 11 minute cameo. More of the same won't do, so let's see Odjidja given a chance as ACM.
Its lack of creativity and clear cut chances plus poor finishing- 1 win in seven- poor finishing in the majority of games is a big problem
Glad I didn't fork out an additional £40 for that ticket. Two teams working hard but very little quality. Poor game. Positive - Howson looks like he's back to his best.
Adams has alleged that Bellusci made a racist comment towards Jerome, which was what the discussion was about in the first half between both players, manager and the ref. Bellusci got booked at the time.
In previous games against Charlton & Rotherham we created **** loads of clear cut chances but against Fulham and Leeds we're not doing that. I can't remember a save of any note tonight by the Leeds keeper. Jerome doesn't look the player he was six weeks ago either. Agreed Howson was full of running, looked commited and up for it. I'm not sure how Whitaker gets picked for us let alone Scotland ! Just looks like he's on a different planet !! I think that although Josh Murphy did well I'd prefere him as an impact player coming on around 60-65 mins right now. I was glad to see Hooper get some mins but he looked way off the pace to me tonight. Hopefully game time will improve that. So on to Shefield and hopefully a change of fortune ! OTBC
