In some ways it might be better in the long run if we lose this game; that way the FAI will simply have to act. If we win, it's back to head in the sand time again. We simply have to get shut of Trap this time.
We'll get a scrappy win tonight and go 2nd in table on goal difference and that's what will be pointed out i.e on course, plan all along etc With no match till March sadly I agree with you nothing will change and to make matters worse lads that are injured tonight will probaly walk straight back in I have my doubts about Keane's fitness, why not start with Long and bring Keane on if needed,Jesus Long is our most consistent performer this season and doesn't even start and I'd drop O'Shea or O'Dea and bring in Clarke.I'll be watching The Great British Bake-off Final anyway
Average enough start from our heroes. Punctuated by a lovely whipped corner from Brady. I think there is a lot to his game but having that in his locker is quite a weapon. McGeady played a beautiful back-heeled pass....a thing of beauty. Andrews then missed a header from 5 yards after good work from Brady and McGeady. We are not dominating. This is not inspiring.
Playing route 1 against plumbers is exactly what they thrive on. Get McGeady, Brady and Coleman on the ball and things will happen.
Rrrrrrrrrocket right at the start of the half from Wilson. Cox on for Brady. Cox immediately playing further up the field leaving more room for Coleman. Much faster pace. Much more room, much much better.
Og 3-1. Walters made a balls of a cross and the defender git very unlucky. Good pressure all the same.
were still playing muck,we can barely beat the minows.hopefully by march we will have a new manager in place
Goal for O'Dea from a McGeady corner. Delighted for him. He smashed a Hun. Motm given to McCarthy for getting and giving, fetching, carrying and driving on. I finally get it with him.
