Pack up work early folks, the game will be over by 7pm.

Just in time for you to run out the door to get to your local Airtricity League game.

Trap is leaving McClean out in favour of Simon Cox. Pretending that McClean is unwell........

    Hopefully a boring routine win....please

I hope i'm wrong but this fixture may turn out to be trickier than we expect, i would take a 1-0 win and run.

Very positive start from our heroes.

McGeady and McCarthy having early efforts.

    It is a 4-4-2....

It was desperate. I am afraid Trap has to go. It is just not possible to play wit two wingers nowadays. That is
if you count Cox as a winger. Cox wasn't the worse on the field, just couldn't do the job he was asked. R. Keane
please, please retire. You have given us great service but don't undo all the good by staying on when you are not
    and cannot contribute anything.
Trap get 3 centre midfielders on your team each and every day. No f...ing picking someone to fill in as third midfielder
as that doesn't work. Whelan and MaCarthy had no opportunity to play together to work together, god forbid pass to
one and another because they are stretched, they are under pressure. Unless you have two wingers both coming in and
playing as centre midfielders to prevent opposition over running us and passing through us. We haven't got those type of wingers.
Trap if you are going to stay, you better get on your plane and bike and visit the clubs of the players who for whatever
reason fell out with you and get them back onside. We have a small pick, we are not Italy we need everyone wanting to play.

Not a great start to the campaign.
Next up Germany. I don't feel good about that one. Hope they go easy on us!

All the record books will show is that we took 3pts from the game.

Our history in qualifying games is littered with good/great performances which sadly yielded none or one point from important games which needed three. Let the Kazakhs have their moral victory; we know the value of them.

We will perform better against Germany, but probably will not get a result. I know which outcome I prefer.

There are poor performances and then there was Friday night. I don't think Staunton would have got away with anything
so poor. Trap appears asif he couldn't care less. He thinks because he once was a good manager, the Irish will let him away with anything.
