I do think Adams has to change things for Tuesday now.
It's clear that this team needs shaking up now if not we are really going to slip down fast.
It's admirable to give the lads a chance to put it right but they aren't doing it.
Grabban must be dropped in favour of Hooper & Howson needs to come into the midfield.
As others have said a CB has to partner Tina, Rusty is a r/back and should be played there IMO.
I know it was Fulham today but I'm starting to get a little worried.

A defeat at Fulham with chances to get a result is not exactly cause for panic in isolation. Nor is our recent run, but the recent run is cause for serious concern. The almost inevitably first goal to our opponents is gonna kill our promotional pretentions if not sorted right away. Our finishing is no better than last season, maybe worse!
I haven't exactly praised Adams in the early weeks of the season, because whilst there were goals and points aplenty, there were clear problems and now things are going wrong I won't condemn him either. However my fears about his appointment in the first place have not gone away. He and we need a result on Tuesday not to save jobs or rescue seasons but to maintain moral. It's one thing Adams playing favourites when results are good but, how happy will the bench/squad be watching Hoolahoops and others continually picked without bringing home the bacon?

    Bah!

We hit the crossbar twice and were all over them but ended up losing to Fulham yet again.
The most worrying thing is the corners and set peices we had so many and never troubled the keeper.
Josh was brilliant but Hooper did absolutely nothing when he came on.
    Wes looks badly injured .

Sorry, I don't agree. we had some positive spells as the game wore on - we were trying to claw back a self imposed deficit - again. But much of our possession and passing interchanging was done in areas where it offered no real threat or Fulham had sufficient bodies in the way to cope. Certainly no way were we 'all over them'.

True Cromer. Lots of possession (over 60%) but too little purpose on show. Agree that there has to be an alternative to playing both Johnson and Tettey, neither of whom looked to be 'playing for their places today. This game was crying out for Howson keeping possession and charging forward and why don't we ever see Odjidja-Ofoe? A big squad is of little use if you don't use it! Not desperate yet, but more than a little disappointed.

But apart from all that, did you have a good away day mate? You can have a good away day regardless of the result. <ok>

My daughter had a delicious steak & ale pie and enjoyed playing Temple run 2 for most of the match.
Nice park next to the cottage and a lovely walk next to the river.
I have a video of the penalty miss from just behind the goal that i will be deleting soon.
The last 3 games have been very frustrating to say the least but that's football .
You boys were unlucky today Welly.:emoticon-0105-wink:

When i saw the penalty cannon back off the cross bar and Josh's long range effort hit the exact same place i just knew the Fulham curse was not going to be broken .

Thanks to all for sending us Sebastien Bassong. Despite hardly any time on the pitch for six months, he came straight into the Watford side as we have central defenders injured and he looks a class player. Seemed to fit in without any problems. Surprised that you don't need him.

It's not that we don't need him, it's he doesn't want to be here! <ok>

He is probably our best player and we are playing our right back in his position.
It seems mental helping a direct rival gain promotion to me but you are welcome.

What was the point of paying him top dollar to sulk in the reserves because we sacked his mate Chris?

Agree with you on nearly all this. Think Hoolahan is in real trouble - looked like ligament surgery needed to me.

However I completely disagree with you on Hooper. I thought his touch and interplay was a massive cut above Grabban's. His movement was great too. He still wasn't quite match sharp, but it was no surprise to me that Jerome looked twice the player with Hooper next to him

I've stayed away from not 606, as I was so disgusted with today's result.

As others have said, NA has to make changes for Tue and WHY play Rusty at CB - that's not his ideal position??? We also need guile in midfield, so why not play Vadis or Howson who hopefully can put in a pass that will beat the defenders.

I'd definitely like to see both Grabban and Wes not starting on Tue!!!!

The amount of money the 3 teams get if promoted is huge compared to Bassong's wages .
Watford are a good side and score for fun the only weakness is a leaky defence .
We have solved that problem for them.
Loan him out yes but not to a rival.

I hope Hooper starts Tuesday and starts scoring the only 2 players that played well were Murphy and Redmond but Redmond should not take any more corners we are useless from set pieces.

Maybe Wes being injured is a blessing in disguise, forcing Adams to actually try and mix it up a bit. As mention before, our depth in squad is really good but not being used properly.

I can see why Martin gets played at CB, apparently he was fantastic for Scotland, and that's where he wants to be played. That said, something clearly isn't right.

We've got options available, definitely need to start using them on Tuesday. Lafferty got rave reviews in the internationals, Hooper is getting closer to full fitness, Howson offers something Tettey and Johnson don't.

    I'd quite like to see:

    Ruddy
    Martin Hooiveld Turner Olsson
    Tettey Howson
    Redmond Odjidja Lafferty
    Jerome

or go for a proper 4-4-2:
    Redmond Tettey Howson Murphy
    Jerome Hooper
