i was at the game last night and it did seem as if some of the young team were a bit too buclied up for their own good it was fine in the main stand where i was though (apart from the usual pish view at dens) ah wemberly.....

Stv news , Peter Lawell has apologised to Dundee last night for an unsavoury incident , 4 Celtic 1 Dundee fans arrested over this . Then the Dundee crowd controller , has said in over 20 years he has never seen anything like this in his life , and some of his staff were lucky to get out alive !!!!! As I said in an earlier post things were nasty ( drink related) but what has actually happened here ???

I read that last night. By ny reckoning that is players fraternity speak for "What goes on the pitch stays on the pitch". undoubtedly Wilson had his arm held but he still threw it back. Accident or no, i think he was lucky and might be luckier still with that testimony.
I think it's a lot of fuss over nothing and I didn't care for Craig Burley hyping it up. Gordon Strachan got it right when he said that a taller player would just have been struck on the chest. Kelvin James Wilson was definitely being persistently and aggravatingly pulled back so a foul was being committed on him and all he was doing was trying to break free - admittedly, by using his elbow which possibly deserved a yellow card for reacting but nothing more. It was just unfortunate that Baird was smaller and got caught in the face but fair play to him for coming out and telling the truth - some other players would simply not have commented.
