The first derby Celtic were 3 goals superior.......

The last derby Celtic were 3 goals superior.

    Fitting.

    Well, that was easy!

What a difference having a fully fit Izzy back in the team.

Easy peasy, Celtic ran the show for 20 minutes onwards, I don't even think Foster got his gloves dirty.

Most one sided game i've seen in ages and over the 4 games it's been 6 points each, aggregate score Celtic 8 Rangers 7.

One thing that confuses me though, was this win tainted?

Most comfortable derby win since, err, when we won 3-0 last year <laugh>

Celtic deserved the win so can't complain with that. An old firm defeat is the least of our worries at the moment but would still have liked to see the players show a bit more fight

It reminded me of the last derby before Martin O'Neill came in. That time, we were hopeless, looked disillusioned and lacked fight. When you're struggling on and off the pitch the players heads go down very easily.

    Matthews was terrific as well.

It is an interesting formation. I wonder what it will be like when the two wing-backs have to go the other direction as well.

Well done Celtic, what a finale, we couldn't want better
Funny thing though I checked with someone I know at Boylesports and was told nobody had put £250 on Rangers to win.

Just what the doctor ordered today - enjoyed that performance immensely. Good to see Kris Commons back on form with some classy play - he looked hungry for the whole time he was on the pitch and stole McCoist's 'cheeky chappy' image from under his fat nose with his sit-down, arms folded, big smile, goal celebration. Thought Glenn Loovens did fine today - he hit bully boy McCullough early on to let him know he wasn't going to take it from him ... in fact, all the players were tenacious in trying to regain possession which was a pleasure to see.

I have just got back from the bar in Lara Beach after watching the game. For one of the first times in my life I can truly say that I am embarrassed to be Scottish; thanks to Rangers fans.

You can imagine the scene, in a foreign bar and a mixed crowd. The Rangers half stood out, though, thanks to their general ****wittery. Listening to some Rangers Teuchter geezer bird asking if the guy has black currant cordial for a snakebite was a joy to behold.

After that it just went downhill.

Around about 52 minutes MacGregor had a decent save from (I think) Ledley. I know that because that was the only point in the whole game that the rangers morons sung anything resembling a football chant.

All the rest was about sashes, Fenian blood, FTP, BJK and No Surrender. Clearly the irony of the last one prior to liquidation was lost on them.

Celtic won the game and we get the bragging rights. We can also hold our heads high after watching ****wits like these shame their club and their country - again.

Yep first class performance never once looked in trouble. Wished it had been more though **** my bet i really wanted to go for 5 or 6.

I will miss these games though, nothing better than a full house, party atmosphere and them trying but still failing. They really are a shambles though, it would be best too just put them out there misery this week. Why wait till the end of the season?

Cossy, that is typical of them, i was in Portugal when they won the league 9/10 season and it was exactly the same senario you have just described. Oh how i will miss their jovial "banter"

Stereeo, big Phil has maintained throughout April it will be May. I am a wee bit surprised if he is now saying the 2nd of May or before it.
Overall despite what all the huns mouths have claimed big Phil has told us the whole story so far. When no one else would even breathe
a word he was on to it. However after Celtic making a pig arse of a Rangers team who played exceptionally bad we should forgive Phil if he
is two or three weeks out.
