Got the points required to make me happy to have broken our most Points in the Premier, which is the least I think this team deserved after some of the football they have played. The Brentford game showed the inconsistency of our season. A poor first half after going 1-0 up, then a second half where the best of our passing game out foxed Brentford.
Can Silva solve our problems for next season?
We've had many games where we've had one good half and one poor half, that along with our ability to lose games from a winning positions have cost us points we shouldn't have dropped.
On the other hand Fulham have the record of coming from behind (5 games) to win games. Silva's substitutions have worked in those game, but there have also been times where we've lost games when Silva's subs haven't work.
But for me overall Fulham are in a better place and progressing nicely.
A very good summary of our season, SBM.
Hopefully we can strengthen the squad for the up-and-coming season, and hence become more consistent.

Slow start to both the Brighton & Manchester United games but came back to gain a point in both games.
A tough game away to Chelsea and the lack of transfers in will have a rolling effect on our games until the end of October with any lastminute.com new players needing to be integrated. International breaks come in between to stop any momentum that gathers.
Robinson's recovery seems to be going slowly, but Silva has said the Wilson injury is not as serious as first thought.

The injustice of the Chelsea game will reverberate all the way through the International break with Fulham fans.
We needed a game to get it out off our system, but will now fester for a few weeks.
Both Michael Salisbury & Rob Jones acted like they were looking for an excuse to disallow the goal.
Compounded by Chelsea scoring in injury time that the VAR incident had created.
Followed up by the penalty where the Ref & VAR dismissed a Chelsea foul and then handball from Chelsea that diverted the ball to a Chelsea player as Fulham players were trying to clear.

tbf the ref gave it and i got the impression that when he watched it on the monitor he still thought it was ok but he just couldn't find the balls to reject the advice from VAR .

I'm hoping it will be a defining moment (but not holding my breath) Everyone, no matter what team they support, saw these poor decisions particularly the Fulham goal and the reaction has been immense. The clear and obvious only intervention must be implemented. VAR is not there to referee.

It made it worse as it came after poor VAR decisions in the Man Utd game. You are right it would be so much better if we had another match this week. I just can't get over this Chelsea game and the injustice. To say it spoilt my weekend is and understatement.

I was at the Chelsea game and waiting 8 minutes to decide on the Chelsea pen was just unbearable. Its spoiling the game for everyone in the ground.

Aaagh - I'm getting angry again !

Well 3 points in the bag v Leeds. We didn't have a good first half, quite dull but 2nd half much better but it took a last minute og to get us on the score sheet. It's the points that count and I'm not too worried, we saw a good glimpse of how good Kevin is going to be for us this season and he's just going to make us even better.

The win was important after the controversial Chelsea and Man U games, we can kick on from here. Shame to see young Dan James pull up with what looked like a hamstring injury. Leeds will be gutted losing like that.

Following a good win last time out and the return from injury for all player, bar Robinson, we will be much stronger going forward.
Another EPL game tomorrow, Everton away at their new stadium, we need to come away with some points, and get our season back on track and have some momentum.
Raul has been playing with an injury, so, will Muniz start, he did look sharp when coming on in the closing stages vs Wolves.
Hopefully we will see the full strength of the squad, for a while at least.
Is anyone getting to the game?

Looks like after the Everton game we've gone back to square one with the Striker situation. Muinz coming on for the injured Raul only to get injured himself.
Lets hope the international break at least gives one of them time to recover. as our alternatives are youngsters or playing players out of position.
Our away form is getting critical, so we have to keep the home form going to pick up points.

You're absolutely right, relieved to have the 3 points in the bag. With better finishing we should have had three or four but it made it a nervy finish. They played 5 at the back which did make it a bit congested but it gave us the midfield to dominate. Overall it was a well deserved three points which we much needed.

Spuds 1 Fulham 2, a great result last night, and well deserved.
Both our goal were played down by the pundits I watched, why, because we are not big 6, or Harry isn't Messi.
We could easily have been 4 to the good in the 1st half, and defended very well in the second.
I really enjoyed that.

Yes, great result and could have had 4 that first half. Spurs were so open it made it look easy. We defended our lead second half and I must admit I was very nervy but so glad we saw it through to take the 3 points. I heard Talk Sport pundit say in the afternoon we need to be beating the likes of Fulham - serves him right.

What a game tonight v Man City. At 5-1 down many headed for the exit bit those that stayed saw Fulham rip Man City apart to bring it back to 5-4 - what a game. I really thought we'd do it and get to 5-5 but a desperate clearance off the line in the last minutes denied that dream. Proud of the team for not giving up, so nearly did we have the comeback of all comebacks.

I never like to criticise, but I thought Leno wasn't brave enough last night, he didn't instil confidence.
A brilliant fight back, but letting in 5 goals was pretty poor.

Welcome win at the weekend. I'm off to Newcastle on Wednesday (must be mad) It will be interesting to see how we get on without our AFCON contingent.
I hope you got back home OK.
A good game, but a late goal stops our progress :emoticon-0108-speec
A bit of a lucky goal for them initially, but a great response from us.
Under the cosh in the 2nd half but thought we would hold out for penalties, but, there's always the FA Cup, eh.
Kevin had a good 1st half but faded, as did ESR, but they both had more energy than I could muster.

Got back a couple of hours ago - not the best game I've seen. Sloppy from both teams. They were there for the taking but we didn't play well enough though as you say we nearly had the lottery of penalties. We'd be in the draw I'm sure if we had got the Africans.

A vital win against Forest, nothing spectacular but a solid 3pts.
Since my criticism of Leno (totally stupid on my part), he has had 2 good games and looking his normal self.
Kevin needs to settle down, cutting out his instant idea of doing a trick wherever his is on the pitch, and just do so higher up the pitch.
TC still brings calm to the team when needed, and Josh is playing well when not being out muscled, a real star in the making.
13th as we stand, let's hope to head higher in the 2nd half of the season.
Talking of seasons, happy Christmas, and a prosperous New Year, to one and all.
