Went to the Brighton game, I think that has to be the worst we have played, Brighton should have been out of sight but we had a 10 minute spell where we rattled the opposition and fortunately scored an equaliser. Good point but it was a difficult watch in the first half. Off to Ipswich tomorrow which will be a tough game. No idea what team we'll put out especially with Man Utd on Saturday. I really do hope we can get through. Need that striker !

Still haven't got over Saturday against United. Threw it away with very poor defending for their goal.
If we had been up to it we could have won against a poor United team that never really threatened us.
We had too many players below par and again the problem of getting shots on goal.

The Villa game has left us needing a win against Wolves and to score some goals to get our goal difference down, that will be tough as Wolves have got some form back.
Adama has again had a relapse after being on the mend. Diop is still out, Muniz is also out so I expect Raul Jimenez to start against his old club.
13 players back from international break so let's see who Marco picks.
Neto may be out for Wolves.

The Forest game was a good confidence booster for many players after good performances but not picking up points, we needed the goals to get our Goal Difference lower and put a few points between us and the bottom three.
Cooper is struggling to knit the new players into partnerships, will he be given the time with their volatile chairman ?

West Ham will be a harder game on Sunday, but lets hope we can carry on picking up the points over the hectic Christmas period.

Great confidence booster. Gone from a team that couldn't score to one that scores a hat full. So pleased for Raul and Forest fans deserve a mention, stayed to the end and sang all night. We'll give West Ham a good game.

Raul is making a massive difference, noticeable against Liverpool and even more so with Forrest. He is a great target man, flicking on from ariel duels, something we have missed this season. His finishing was brilliant, with a back heel to boot.
The team is working much better, confidence is on the up, thank goodness.
A tough game on Sunday, Wet Spam beating the Spuds last night, shows us the spirit and ability we face.

It was an incredible match, as you say how do you pick a MOTM for that display. It was so similar to the Forest game, even for the first 15 minutes or so but when we got the first goal it was full team ahead and we looked like Barcelona. I never expected that. This week will live long in the memory.

Well what a tonic tonight in the Carabo cup. When it went to penalties I did think that was it, winning on penalties to reach the Semi Final just happens to other teams. How wrong I was. Thank goodness for a really terrible penalty attempt by Everton when it was theirs for the taking .. now that is Fulhamish.

So Liverpool away first to start the two leg semi final in the Carabo cup. We've given them a good game each time we've played them over the last couple of seasons and Sala will be out at the African nations. I'd have preferred Boro or Chelsea but if we're still in the tie after the first leg it'll be a great game at the Cottage.

An atmosphere and final outcome, as in the Derby playoff, would be brilliant, fingers crossed.

Not the result we wanted against Burnley. Felt we didn't match Burnley's fight and were trying to walk the ball into the net in the second half through their packed defence, without competing with them. They scored 2 goals from two shots and no one closed down the scorers quick enough.
In the first half Trafford made 3 match winning saves that if we'd scored would have dented Burnleys confidence.

Next up Bournemouth away on Boxing Day, tough as they've started to pick up performances, especially Solanke who always plays well against us.
Need to get Willian back on the left side so that Iwobi can go back to the right/middle side where for me he plays his best game.
Against Burnley we needed someone to break through their lines, Iwobi can do that, Wilson and Muniz were making runs but the midfield kept passing sideways and ignoring them.

Bournemouth away was another disaster, losing another goal late in the first half. Bournemouth and Fulham looked to be playing out the 1st half to a 0-0, then the Fulham midfield opened up to allow an unstopped run and a pass to a player unmarked and 1-0 down. A sloppy soft penalty given by the Ref followed by a late goal now brings our GD to -8 after two 5-0 wins had got us back to GD 0. Arsenal at home next.

Our passing is becoming predictable and we don't have the players breaking the defensive lines like B'mouth did for their 1st goal. It reminds me a bit of the way that Tigana's team started to falter, trying to walk the ball into the net with 26 passes from keeper to attack.

Some tough games in the next month.
