Because ***brace yourself for some shock news ; ) **** the majority of teams in this division have players that on paper are better than ours. If PL lets himself get outwitted by other managers we will get relegated. In most matches the underdog will lose unless they force an unexpected advantage.

In my view it is PL's tactical instinct that will be the major factor in our survival. Look at the two biggest selection shocks this season- Hoolahan dropped against Stoke- we clearly deserved a win. Holt dropped against Bolton- we get our first win.

To be honest im amazed that Coyle thought it was a wonder save, looked like a cross shot that avoided the strikers & went through to the keeper who palmed it over?

I thought we played well today, but were up against a poor Bolton team, but was a little surprised by PL team playing Hoolahan up front when Morison & Vaughan i feel would have been better.

But a wins a win, & i will probably get slated again for this but I thought the Pen was soft & The lino was better placed than Webb & never moved a muscle!?

The penalty was soft, but it was a penalty without question. He didn't dive or anything of the sort, and he went down because the defender came in, so it's a penny <ok>

In a way, it's a blessing in disguise that Klasnic got sent off, as we may actually try out N'Gog, who did well today.

  4. Fox can consider himself unfortunate not to have been in the starting 11 until now. His passing is good and has a good delivery from set plays. Crofts and Johnson just doesn't work for me. Fox offers something different and doesn't misplace as many passes. Thought Johnson was excellent today, was still working very hard up until the last.

Didn't look like a soft pen to me looked like Barnett tried to high-jump kick the lad! Wasn't in a scoring position, so really not needed.

Klasnic made to headbutt Tierney, so Tierney has every right to go down. Stupid decision for the red card, but also stupid from Klasnic.

His arse hit Klasnic in the face at full speed and knocked him out, yellow card at least..

That red card was an awful decision, annoyed with that.

    I'll argue tomorrow, complete bullshit.

Yeah, red card was poor decision, but Tierney went down not much easier than your guy for the penalty, there wasn't much contact in either, and it's nothing from what we've had from the referees.

Clutching at straws. Why can't you admit that you had a hell of a lot of luck and the red card should've gone the other way?

Having seen the incidents a few times now, I have to say that I was not impressed by Tierney's reaction.
Klasnic was wrong to do what he did, and even his own boss said that he knows the rules and what will happen if a player does that, so it would seem even the Bolton manager has no complaints about the red card.

The penalty. It was a penalty imo. No attempt to play the ball. No need to even make a challenge. I'm afraid a bit of naivety got what it deserved.

The Kung fu incident. I don't think it was malicious, but, it was very rash and extremely stupid. There was no need to go in that high. He was very lucky to stay on the pitch, I have to admit.

Ver very pleased to see us play so well resulting in the 3 points. I have no fears about our ability to stay in this league. We are slowly wising up and adapting to the PL, but we still have to watch the 'silly' mistakes.

I would just like to say it was a class response from Owen Coyle. No whingeing about the decisions.A lot of Premiership managers could do with taking a leaf out of his book.I always liked Bolton as a team that punched above their weight.Good luck for the rest of the season.
