A bit of a strange one, Mark Oxley seems to be well liked by the coaching staff and is doing well out on loan, SB was there to see him last night. He is only 22, so surprised that we are looking at another young keeper, when we seem to already have an up an coming one.

No thanks. Would rather have Townsend-Torensen and that was dodgy as well. Amos is a much better keeper and the slagging off Amos is getting is silly and undeserved. FFS, non of his mistakes have cost us a game yet. Goals maybe but not games. Way to soon to be wanting a replacement for Amos. imo. Yes he is. Did ok last night in the Fa Cup game. But Altrincham are hardly a power house team to judge him on. But reports suggest Burton are very happy with him. Dont ask Gary about the Taylor part. It appears to be a sore subject when asked about it. Lol.
I suspect that the thinking behind this is that Amos is actually only on loan with us and has just signed a new contract at Manchester United so is unlikely to be a permanent deal. Bruce clearly isn't a massive fan of jakupovic so will be looking to get rid soon. Oxley has had hardly any first team experience until now so he is being given some this season ready to be our back up keeper next season to a new first choice which would appear to be this Mat Ryan if we can get him! It's not rocket science.....
I would agree with ^^^^ this. I would concur that Matt Ryan could will be a replacement for reasons already posted.

Had trials for Man U who Amos plays for? I know Ben's third choice there but having a trial at Man U doesn't necessarily mean you are the bees knees. Is this guy out of contract in the summer?
