I know that Iôve repeatedly
On various Canary sites,
Sung the praises of our Lambert P.
As heôs lifted us all to new heights,
But no praise is really too much
For what this wee Scot has performed,
Who with his unique Midas touch
Has proved a new era has dawned
The scale of just what he has done
Is something still hard to believe,
Two promotions, not even just one
Which for some is too hard to achieve,
And all this without all the pounds
At his back, as some these days do need,
To make progress in leaps and bounds
An incredible achievement indeed
All based on hard work and belief
And getting that message to those,
Who matter, so they take a leaf
Out of his book, so that it shows,
When 90+ minutes are played
It sounds simple and it has been,
But after so long weôve been made
To wait, it all seems like a dream
I hope that the shock that he gets
When he realises just what heôs done,
Doesnôt leave him with any regrets
For Iôm sure that thereôs more yet to come,
And if he can add to his flock
So the spirit we have is retained,
One or two, might just get a shock
If at Carrow Road they get caned
So hats off to you Mr. L
I still canôt believe that weôre there,
But the more congrats come, I can tell
It must be the PL next year,
And carry onôs all I can say
I know itôs not something youôll shirk,
I canôt wait till it gets under way
To see a master craftsman at work. OTBC
