Looks like the last of our not required U23s will be going out on loan to Lancaster City in a couple of days. Bobby Kamwa can play striker or as AM or indeed either wing. I will await confirmation before amending the loan list
So what are peoples thoughts on this O’Brian business because we now have some journos saying a deal will be done in January? My understanding is O’Brian is happy where he is because he has been told he plays, whereas at Leeds he wasnt guaranteed to play. Also we offered £4m up front payment but the rest of the £8m deal spread over 3 years - however if O’Brian reached agreed targets in that period the price could be as high as £13m in add-ons. This is different from agreeing a £13m deal spread over 3 years I believe it was Bielsa that pulled the plug as he valued him at a lower price
His contract runs out at the end of this season. Just sign him in June for nothing. Another years experience with Corberon won't be harmful to the lad.

Anyone else see the praise Bielsa heaped on Costa? He took all the blame for not being able to bring the best out of him. He said Costa is a top top pro and I let him down because he always did exactly what I asked him to do, but his skills were not able to come to the fore. Phil Hay summed it up when he said that the next one on the must do better list is Roberts. Hes the last man standing
I very rarely criticise my own Team I also like to give everyone a chance to prove themselves. On Roberts I just don't see what others see. People say he's still young give him a chance I agree he's young. but, he's had a chance he's been here what 3 years now. I still don't see what he adds to this team or system. He doesn't score enough goals and he can't change a game from the bench. He's like a stopgap player fill that hole for 20 mins. Costa quite skilful on his day but he's powderpuff. never got stuck in, shirked 50/50 balls who was pushed off the ball with ease. On O'Brian I think it all depends on where we are in January.
Roberts needs to produce or will become a running sore through this board and we know how social media already refer to him?
