If we come through these with 7 points or so we will have done very well ! Very tough looking games on paper, first off two home games.

C O Y B !

I think..........

Beat Wolves
Lose to Watford
Lose to Bournemouth
Draw at Charlton

Hoping for more obviously!

To read some of these posts especially from Spanish just really pisses me off!

Any one would think we are in the bottom half rather than pushing for a promotion place! We have lost only once in the last 9 games FFS! This team has cost us peanuts and yet we are competing in every game so a bit of perspective please!
<ok>

Well from my end Warkie I think we have a good side and have a chance in every game.

Just a little annoyed with mr fixture for bringing these four up in a row! Watford look a very good outfit and Bournemouth are flying too.

Really warky, a flash in the pan hey, they have a good side and a fantastical manager!! The reason i predict 3 points is because they are all better than us and tbh the table kinda shows that!! Why lie?

Actually Westy, im gonna go with your predictions, 4 points, thats a non delusional 4 points Warky but i would love 12 points!!

We have a good side and a fantastic manager but you're too dumb to appreciate it fella.

NO, we have an AVERAGE side and an AVERAGE manager that are doing OK in a VERY AVERAGE league but you are too blind to see it!! **** me, you think we done really well and was pleased with that performance, IT WAS ****!!! Any decent side would have stuffed us on Saturday and i bet im not the only one that thinks that!!

Spanish I was there mate.

There are no mugs in this league every game is hard and its down to fine margins! It would be arrogant in the extreme to say that we should go to Blackpool and stuff them 5 or 6 nil because they are the bottom side. We controlled the game and the win was never in doubt so I really dont know what you are banging on about. Mick is far from being an Average manager you just ask any manager what they think about Mick and the vast majority will say that he is hugely respected in the game. How's Ollie getting on btw! <whistle>

Nah grow a beard and become a man......

Like me...I have a beard..ha ha! The last time I used blades was on my legs!

Going back one nick....I predict 5 pts...but you never know. If Jonny is back...and Bish fit.....we could go on one hell of a run and grab 9 pts, but the full set, dont think so, unless Warky's blind optimism jinxes all the oppo!

Anyone who expected any new manager, after the mess that Keane & Jewell created, to come in and save the club from relegation, and in their first full season to win promotion is just being delusional.

Not even the wonderful Holloway could have done that imo! <ok>

Going on the original post, i predict 5 points too (Wolves and Watford both draws, Bournemouth lose and to win at Charlton)

As for the Warky / Spanish debate, i would say we have a very average team, with a very experienced manager (just because he saved us from relegation one season, and has bought players for no money does not, in my opinion make him a fantastic manager)
Admittedly, he sounds like an excellent man-manager, and motivitaor who loves telling it how it is, but i don't think he has the technical nouse to be a succesful manager. He was the right manager for us at the time, but i truly feel that he is not the man to take us to the next level - he's too one dimensional.

Of course you are entitled to your opinion but I think you are talking bollux!

I happen to think we have a GOOD squad this season and one of the better managers in the division.

Alright Stretchy, seeing as Mick is not the man to push us on to the next level ( In 2 years he's taken us from clear bottom to 8th 2 points off the play offs at the current moment ) can I be curious to ask who you think is the man to take us to the next level?

Championship level Mick has got Millwall 3rd, won the championship with both Sunderland and Wolves. Alright, he's been not fantastic in the premier league but whether people like him/style of play he is obviously one of the best at this level by some margin.

Also, I fail to see how this squad is " average ? "

Berra is one of the best CBs in the league
Mings is attracting scouts all over the shop............. turned down £3 mill already for him
Williams is quality, Bishop looks a real talent
McGoldrick and Murphy are one of the best partnerships in this division!!!!!

This squad is in no way " average " - it's the best we've had in years.
