All this Cellino love - Just a reality check, he hasn't brought the ground back, he has pocketed £11m for Ross and we sit in 19th spot 3 points above relegation and he has ruined our coaching set up - Are the players he has brought in really that much better than what a decent manager could have found us? If the answer to the last question is yes can someone explain why we are in 19th spot and playing sideways football.
?? And who's fault is that It doesn't matter if he brings Jose in, the players we have are not doing it, no wins in 7 games. Here is how I see it.... When we appointed Warnock as our manager I was happy, I have no idea what went wrong with him in charge, maybe lack of funds, he always said he wasn't able to sign the marquee signings, yes we were all glad to see the back of him and nobody was disappointed when McDermott joined and GFH took over. I was one of the first to shout out against GFH and McDermott and that got me a reputation for being too negative. GFH proved to be broke and McDermott really was out of his depth, I was calling it as I saw it that is all. I was pleased that Cellino came in but only because he saved us, he would not have been in my top 10 of preferred owners but it was him or nothing. Appointing Hockaday was unforgiveable, there is no excuse for that appointment, no evidence or positive reason for him to join as coach apart from being cheap. Darko joined, I hadn't a clue about whether he was good or not but I thought the sensible thing would have been leave Redfearn in charge while he was on a purple patch, the moment it went tits up put him back with the academy and bring in someone who knew the division. If Redfearn continued to do well review the situation, there was no need to rush someone in, we were doing okay. Either way 6 games in charge is not long enough, sacking him and saying you have made two mistakes (3 if you count not leaving Redfearn in charge in the first place) so quickly is again a childish mistake. Let us not forget he also sacked Bromby, Naylor and Carbone... Redfearn is not the man for the job, we will end up losing him completely and after 22 years Cellino is not going to change in his method and madness of appointing cheap coaches hoping to strike it lucky with one of them when the question has to be asked, is it actually the quality Cellino has brought in? He has lied about buying the ground back by November, documented elsewhere that this was reference to mean BEFORE November started. Part of me wants to like him for saving us, part of me is being realistic that things are never going to be better than plodding along in the championship. If cellino had stepped back, appointed someone like Steve Clark and said here you go, here is £10m to rebuild this team would we be in 19th position in the league?
Maybe those of us who have seen them play have seen some very good football like against Huddersfield and know the squad is better than last few years.
So play very good football once every 15 games and you're happy? Maybe you should have gone to one of the last 6 games for a reality check mate. Have a look at this http://www.footballformguide.net/form/sky-bet-championship
Half the team = 6, 2 or 3 for a top half team fook me the other 2 players aint half holding you lot back
went several of them m8,played excelent against wednesday, and good for 1 half in three others, untill the managers negative try and hold your lead back fired, and he got fired for it.But why stop at 6 games over the last 10 there's 1 team much much worse.Any Ideas
MATHS NOT YOUR STRONG POINT THEN MIGHTY,HALF IS 5 OR 6,SO AS I SAID ABOUT,LETS SAY 5 AND 2 OR 3 OF THOSE FIVE FOR A TOP HALF TEAM.hope making it simple for you helps .If not ask a teacher [your wife]to explain.
Half could play in the prem. top half is still the prem,so its inclusive.Would you like me to say it slowwwwweeeer.
Im gonna give you the benefit of the doubt Chesh and allow you to be having your way with 5 Now you are only wrong by 5 instead of 8
