Yep, wouldn't disagree if you can find me the player! Ultimately if there is an improvement to the squad in the relevant positon i'd lose anyone! Just don't think that will necessarily be a key area when we stay up. Think MH will be focusing on the defence in which case I'd take him as good squad player.
Mackie's stock has risen with his performances. Sure he'd be looking to move if your's were the terms offered, existing contract or not. West Ham were reportedly interested not that long ago.

I think Mackie (love him or hate him) has worked and earned a place in next years team based on effoft and consistancy. depends on what MH promies him.

so with derry and buzz likely to be missing on sunday it's probable we've seen the last of both players. derry has been a giant and I know hes only been with us 2 1/2 years he should go down as an all time great. buzz not quite so.
