Be interesting to see what happens now. Innocent man (or charges not strong enough to warrant a case) but he's not been painted in a good light. Does he simply rejoin Man Utd training in the morning?

 

Agreed. Although I know a few people who like the “no don’t” as a turn on. The “playing the part of a person who doesn’t want it. If you video that, you have grounds for arrest and divorce!! Not that I know it’s what happened of course. But it’s more common than a lot think

Yeah, and without wanting to get into dangerous territory I would agree with you, but where did the complaint/accusation then come from? Or was it on the back of a fight/infidelity and revenge?

If he's innocent, as he's been found, I hope that his career progresses, he gets 'up to speed' and 'match fit' and he has a m.o.t.m. performance in the League Cup final

After seeing the video posted below I might be 'miles out' because I didn't know about it (not that I have any intention of watching it), and it may well be a case of 'money talks' . . . . in which case I take back all of that above

I assume dropped down to victims evidence. Utd must be thinking oh ffs as they now have a difficult decision to make. Would have been easier for him to get convicted.

Not particularly commenting on your posts as i didn't see them but this is one thread the mods will be having to keep a close eye on.

 

Shows the danger of the accused man being named prior to being found guilty or innocent.
Can be a life destroying episode whether your a ‘celebrity’ or not.
No idea what the facts were just not interested.

Absolutely. Nothing seems right with it. Obviously she’s a rich woman now at a guess!!

 

How so? This wasn't a civil case and it's not USA where you can pay someone off. It was a criminal case where the CPS have decided that there isn't enough evidence to take it to court and have a reasonable chance of a guilty verdict.

The difficulty for all parties is he hasn't been found innocent or guilty, it's just not going to court. From his perspective he doesn't have the chance to clear his name, from the victim's perspective they won't see justice done. Everyone loses and one of them (I don't know which) deserves better.

 

Audio recordings never stand up in court. There are so many things that can be tampered with/edited etc these days.

 

You may well be right, but Sky reports 'key witness' withdrew and "new evidence ' came to light. Make of that what you can!

 

Still contracted to Man Utd isn't he? Was suspended as a result of the charges. Charges dropped = suspension over surely? Be interesting to see what happens.
