Unfortunately, it's not, we've got another 45min yet. Cheer up, WBA losing and getting relegated, at least we're staying up. There was a time a few weeks ago when this match looked like being super critical for us.
Agreed. No-one can say a season where we went top after a reasonable number of games was awful throughout. Hugely disappointing second half given where we put ourselves though

Take our early chances and this would be a different game, we have to get better defensively next season though.
I think we all are aware that most of our squad are lower PL level at best. We go into the summer with the exact same attitude that we have gone into the last few summers with, we need to get rid of players before we can buy. We have failed at doing a clearout in the last 2 summers (since Ralph has been here) I'm not optimistic this summer wont be the same, we probably have a few more names on the list to be cleared out than in previous windows which may help a bit
At least it isn't eh? Without massive massive changes in the summer we're going to be treated to more of the same next year

I don’t agree - I know your general perspective is that everything’s ****, the whole team, management, owners, coaches, etc can **** off, but, given the thin squad, the injuries we had and the chances, I think we outdid ourselves in the first half of the season (thank god). We had some brilliant results, but, losing key players and confidence just messed us up. We give pathetic goals away and we don’t have the confidence to take those chances. I wouldn’t blame Danny for wanting out to be honest ..... we need to tighten up the defence and get a couple of actual goal scorers (assuming Danny goes) and I think we could look at a top half finish next season. Of course, all the depressed fans who seem to like booing their own team won’t be happy unless we win the league, win in Europe and can attract players worth upwards of £100 million. Sadly, they don’t live in the real world, so my view is they’d ge better supporting someone else ....

Yeah we keep saying it but this really is a pivotal summer for us and I think if we **** it this year then we'll go down next season. Hopefully the fact that a lot of players now only have a year left might make it easier. Probably not though.
An absolutely critical close season for us, they’ve all been important recently, but I see us currently teetering on the brink of a breakup of the core of what has been good this season (amongst all the dross)... if Ings were to go, we would need another senior striker capable of scoring 10 plus in the EPL-not an easy feat, I constantly worry that one of the big boys will come looking for JWP... his stats don’t lie and he like others will be hugely ambitious... Vesty could go too and leave a very large hole in defence and we have a very precarious goalkeeping problem.... which one of them wants to be crappest.... Semmens needs to have one hell of an ace up his sleeve if we are to negotiate the short summer break even anywhere near approaching well....
