    Stead was fantastic.
Marv, considering his week was also fantastic. Ok, sometimes a bit worrying but what a man to have in your side. His effort and dedication to the cause was unbelievable - he was playing the other side of the world 2 days ago. Some of his defensive headers were awesome and to score was the icing on the cake. Not at all surprised SOD made him captain.
Kelly - sorry guys the jury is still out.
Fonts and Nyatangle - after the first 15 minutes (we could have been 2 down) they were excellent as was Moloney.
SOD was shrewd putting them in a back 3 and having an extra player in midfield.

    Great shout goes to SOD.
    Tactically superb.
We were fortunate first 15 minutes but, just like Watford, frustrated the hell out of Forest and the longer the game went on the easier it became.

WHY oh WHY did we hold on to the idiot Mcinnes.
What a difference with a man who understands just the bloody basics.

I 2nd that Redprintt! We wouldn't be fighting relegation that's for sure.....Many blamed the players, but I did say I thought we had decent players if we had a decent manager to direct them.
If we go down, at least we go down fighting....that's all you can ask......shame the other results went against us yet again...

Red i have shouted from the roof tops about our players being good enough, they just need direction.
SoD has the respect of every one of them, clearly Del did not.

You would not put a plane in the air without a pilot
You would not put a ship to sea without a captain.

But we put a team on the pitch with a manager who was out of his depth.

Yet when McInnes was here, he got stick galore for changing 4-4-2 to 3-5-2. And as you admit, if Blackstock had scored the sitter we presented to him, there would probably have been a totally different result.

So is one lucky and the other unlucky?
Is one more tactically aware than the other?
Is one a better man manager than the other?
Does on have more respect from the players than the other?
The difference between success and failure in football is a very fine line.
McInnes is not an idiot and neither is O'Driscoll a genius.

You should see what Stead posts on Twitter. He LOVES playing for City and is so up for it when we win. Him and Kilkenny are very positive after the matches, and during the week. I dont think JS wants to go anywhere. And he has commented yesterday that his new song "Stead will tear you apart, again" is the first song he has ever had sung about him. Please lets not sell him.

Cidered your wasting your time asking questions like this.

Just enjoy the weekend knowing that both our teams got good results. I'm actually hoping for a England narrow win over Ireland today so it could come down to the final weekend at the Millenium :)

I'm glad Stead is getting some recognition, I always think he works hard during games, and still maintain he is captain material, as he is an example to follow in terms of effort.

Couldn't agree more I even have a shirt with his name on it then a week after I bought it they did a special offer of something like his shirt for half price after he scored in a vital game typical of my luck.

OK ROD, I'll move on quietly to greener pastures and leave the subject of the former manager well alone . You got your wish so it's now up to the Welsh team to win all their remaining games to keep the title.

Nobody responded as you weren't being serious - you weren't were you ?

'Is one more tactically aware than the other?' an absolute classic. <laugh>

I like stirring up the waters now and then! It's a lazy day in the house today as it's bloody cold outside. So internet, not606 and keeping the log fire going.
