THURSDAY 6th MAY …...time to sort Bristol City council out people need to throwaway the concept they are " political party through and through" [ we have had years of Bad decisions by the city council and a worsening, seriously worsening situation, with the mayor. FORGET what party is the affiliation and judge on the results the massive wastes of money future plans that do no good for the general mass of Bristol. SO change the MAYOR!
THE COUNCIL... THE MAYOR WHEN FIRST ELECTED [ ALLEDGEDLY ] got rid of anyone who did not agree with his vision! ..really strange that all those "demoted or banished" were representing a different party! and yes peeps or a**lickers?!
POSTAL VOTES are being sent out less than 2 - 3 weeks before election not much time to study form! ..
So far had 1 phone call from a potential " labour " councillor … whom I kept on the phone for almost 30 mins he did not have a clue what has been going on by city council over the past 10 - 12 years!
Didn't know the people of Bristol used to own the Airport, and was sold off but the people of Bristol never benefitted from it because the £millions were squandered … and some! Vague about the benefit of the millions spent on the M32 metro.. will never repay the £some wasted in carbon saving/ pollution in fact likely to increase it as vehicles go slower or are stationary due 50% of road space being used by a few buses that for only an hour or so a day are actually nearly full.
Air pollution .. a source of revenue from the motorist... TFL makes £bn's in London .. now Bristol wants to hide their inability to spend properly and ability to waste money by having another £source to hide poor housekeeping.
DONT MOAN ABOUT RISING COUNCIL TAX and nowt to show for it in the future .. if you dont vote or vote for no change!
 
Oh quick PS … other contacts with 3 other individuals / parties all saying the same /similar things on what they would do …. ALL seem to be spouting the same lingo...all makes sense … mostly .. IT IS WHO YOU TRUST to actually do it ...
 
The history haters and liberals can change the names of roads and places and pull down statues.
But the people who value the history of their country and city whether it's glorious or dubious should have the right to an opinion. And that is what it feels like the loonies are trying to take away from us.
The US head of BLM has also just bought a $1.4m mansion in Malbu. Who says spouting hate doesn't pay ?

The BLM has never been anything to do with protecting people with colour......it's an organisation that has been set up as a distraction from the likes of elections, Covid and alike...............greed, corruption and power are key to all of this........we are all being played for fools.........mainly by main stream media!!

She is supposed to be one of the co-founders of BLM and, apparently, is a self styled activist and Marxist. As is usual, some it would seem are more equal than others!!

It has been suggested in some media outlets that BLM has taken in somewhere around $90 million in donations during the last year, but that their accounts are opaque and no-one really knows where it's gone. If that actually is so, why isn't the media all over their case?

I'd hazard a guess that some of it is being used to buy houses in Malibu !
