It is a brilliant quip and I really wish I could take credit for it BUT, it came from an old time promoter called Mickey Duff (since we're a similar age I think you'll remember him?).

I saw Micky Duff and Don King walking together before a fight in Las Vegas. Think it was Pinklon Thomas v Trevor Burbeck. Right pair of characters. They could sell tickets to a pub fight.
