WOULD YOU BELIEVE HE IS STILL ONLY 26!!

he only just reached his prime, he was 24 when he left us, he was my favorite player when he was in black and white and he's better than anything we have now apart from carrol, and with his pace would be perfect to play off carrol, i still cant belive birmingham have got a gem like oba.

you can't hate a player just becuase they left a relegated team to play championsleague football, mike ashley basically fobbed him off becuase he was our most valuable asset.

i love oba and i always will, my generation of great newcastle player - martins, milner, shearer (out of his prime) oh yeah and HBA

This is why people hate him:

"I watched Juventus get relagated but hold onto their best players and go straight back up. I would like to do that here"
*ring ring*
"Wolfsberg? YES! As long as they can cover my wages when i spend it all on hookers like at tNewcastle"

As said. If he said he wanted to leave as he was a young developing player, fair enough, but he didn't.

lolz

We must have made near £10m from selling him.. I would much rather have had that cash and him off the wage bill than had him in WTCTSDTD.

I would argue that he was probably asked to leave as soon as a decent offer came in.

He was too inconsistent and didnt have a footballing brain. Good bit of business if you ask me

He will score against us if he plays. Hopefully he'll feign injury, or score an own goal double agent style (double-oba-seven? - i'll get me coat)

I quite liked Martins, hope he does okay there... not again us, obviously. Which he will, though, you know it. We've still got 'em twice as well.

I liked him, didn't he score an average of 1 goal every 3 games for us?

I think I heard that somewhere. Which is pretty good to be honest.

Was criminally overated by most people. Lazy and inconsistent. He was actually painful to watch his last season here, Xisco would have been a better option.

On his day.. a class act & could be near unplayable.. but on his ''off-day'' he might aswell not have bothered to be on the pitch, just way too inconsistent.

Still miss him though & a partnership with Carroll would be very interesting to see!

Have a feeling he will score not once but twice against us & be the MOTM!!!
