I wouldn't be surprised if Martinez gives them a miss as well...

 

Forgot the Euro's so yes less time to prepare.

I feel slightly sorry for whoever takes this job, unless they get some sort of guarantees, aspirations of the owners and supporters is just too way high and needs a reality check.

 

I don't know why people are being so critical of Martinez on here. He clearly did a good job at Swansea and has kept a very poor Wigan side up (against the odds) at every attempt. Yes there have been rough patches, but there is clearly a very good tactical mind at work too. Switching to 3-4-3 was brave, but not lucky. Indeed. Liverpool are a big Club but in the Newcastle / Spurs / Sunderland mold. Not a Huge Club any more.

Plus they're a basket case.
