Bad tackle, should have been a booking. By time the Mail and the Mirror have finished with it though, it will prove Luis was a top ***** in North Wales care homes 20 years before he was born, and Oliver Holt will text through an eye-witness report from 3000 miles away in his hotel room in Dubai.

Yellow card, just a bad tackle.

Nothing close to what the media or Martinez are making it out to be. Focus on how ****e your team were rather than this 'stamp' Rob.

Suarez didn't get him properly. Should of got him hard and injured that stupid **** too.

Hope he breaks one of the Swansea players ankles next week and really give the media and ******s something to moan about.

I hope Suarez keeps doing it and keeps getting away with it.

    Good for him I say.

It's funny how it's only small teams who have a snap at Suarez. It is sour grapes, and they're just upset that their defenders got made to look like statues in the wake of Suarez's run. It'll always happen when Suarez is on the pitch!

Is it just me or has sports journalism, football in particular, gone down in quality in recent years. Gone are the articles analysing the game and describing the highlights.

Instead it is reduced to finding an easy target ( such as Suarez or Terry ) then giving a biased report on everything they do on the pitch or off it. If Suarez has the audacity to visit a children's hospital to give out presents at Xmas the headline would probably be " Santa Suarez Dives Into Children's Ward Disturbing The Sleep of the Sick".

And as for the alleged reporting of possible transfers this seems to take the form of linking anyone who is playing well with Man City/Chelsea or Utd. Or fantastic insights along the lines of Arsenal would like to sign Messi...everybody would like to sign Messi it is not journalism to report the bloody obvious.

The dirty work like researching Rodgers' record before they started kissing his Hodgsonesque arse?

    Jesus change the record.

Why can't you just support the manager - you're almost willing us to fail so Rodgers does.

Still bitter about Kenny aren't you?

Next week Chico Flores will mark Suarez out of the game. He has man marked better players than Suarez and had the better of them.
If this turns out not to be the case I will hold my hands up.

I would wager that after we play you off the park and bag the 3 points you lot will still be making excuses however, and Rodgers will praise his highly paid superstars for their "fantastic" effort :)

We'll see a lot of Suarez sat on his arse, arms outstretched, bitching at the referee...we might even see him get sent off if he has a temper tantrum.

Not seen too much of your games but from what I have seen you appear to be a little too open at the back, so who has he man marked in the prem?

He hasn't been used in that manner yet in the prem....but he was used to man mark in La Liga extensively in the 4th tightest defence that season, he gained rave reviews for his job on Messi for example.

As Suarez seems to be the only Pool player capable of scoring regularly at the mo (in this system), and you play 1 up front, would be very surprised if he isn't asked to do that job on Suarez this Sunday.

Messi scored in both games against Mallorca last season? Scored a hattrick in the game at the Nou Camp in a 5-0 win & 1 in the away game in a 2-0 victory (which Chico was subbed off early in the 2nd half)

Dont remember him marking messi out of a game but I dont watch them all so I will take your word for it. Would be interesting to see him try to man mark suarez as we dont see a lot of it in the prem and you have to wonder would it fit in with Swansea's style?
