Apparently on a shortlist to take over the boardroom helm at Manchester United. Things just go from bad to worse don’t they. Best CEO we’ve had since Cortese and the very best running on a tight budget.
This could be bad news for Ralph as they have an excellent working relationship and a new man at the helm might want to change things.
LoL - The only thing really that Southampton have seemed to got right is there Director.. But i'll take what Manchester United fan, Alex has to say really.. He was suggesting that Ralph should go to them also a while back.
I do wonder how the management team in the widest sense at Southampton view the future of the club in response to both Covid and the generation inaction of Gao. What would have been a decent prospect with potential could be viewed totally differently from the perspective of this season. Losing Semmens would suggest a lack of ambition within the club. I have to say that I would not be at all surprised if a number of people within the club are considering their options. Covid has given a surprising number of managers a stay of execution and I would be curious to see how a genuine return to normally would reflect on a club like Saints. This close season will not seem quite so optimistic as the previous one and the fiasco with the European Super League will no doubt see other clubs being sufficiently compromised to change CEO.
