i've watched ipswich once this season and on the evidence of that they'll be bottom six and possibly go down. charlton weren't much better to be honest but it was one game so difficult to judge a season on that, just as it is impossible for guru to judge on two matches. you can get a rough idea though and i think its fair to say neither of our sides will be challenging at the top of our respective divisions this year! ps. have i seen more ipswich games than you so far this season warky?
Even though that is a remote possibility, somewhere near Alpha Centauri I should think, I imagine a bookmaker would give you odds because technically it is a possibility. Come on give it up. You've tried your best and you are getting the odd bite but thats not really anything to put on your CV is it? We were dire Saturday so you cannot offer an opinion on Snodgrass based on that. The stats say John Ruddy conceded 5 but he didn't put a foot wrong Saturday.
I'm going to watch them at Brighton tomorrow night as it is a local game for me! I will enjoy watching Jewell's final game as Town manager!
good luck with that! seems to me evans wants to keep him for a while longer. not sure why but i'm happy about it!! brighton were my tip to win the division but i think CMS is out tomorrow night so he'll be a big miss.
I'm fearing the worst but hoping for the best! I don't mind admitting that this is by far the worst Ipswich team I have ever seen and that includes the John Duncan and Mick McGiven eras!
Brighton local? Thought you were Cambridge-based JWM. Always imagined you, Guru and Welly must at least hold chairs such is the High Table quality of your contributions to our debates.
maybe you boys should give ant and dec a shot at managing your club. i mean, you've basically had both of them already. you've got pj in charge now, you've had duncan... combine the two!
well, he isn't, but neither is he as hapless as you seem to believe for some reason. once he's figured out the best formation we'll be ok but he needs to act swiftly now and get some confidence back into the players. i mentioned earlier that the way you're talking you'd have had brendan rodgers sacked after six games with liverpool, so what's the difference? both new managers in their respective jobs who have made fairly poor starts but neither of which are or should be under any threat. especially funny as i believe you were one of the ones advocating him as a good manager when we first appointed him, yet we lose a couple of games and suddenly you find it hilarious that we've got some duffer in charge
