she's a fox - finally we agree on something! not sure if you understand how football works, its not easy to tell from what you're posting today, but you are allowed to use your stronger foot to kick the ball if you like, especially if your main strength to your game, as told by leeds fans, is cutting inside and either crossing or shooting. just thought that needed clearing up. still total bollocks that he didn't use his right foot though cos he produced a good cross right in front of me with it.
I think he will (has) get found out, thats my opinion from the 2 games i have seen of him. Sarah Jane is the hottest on Sky by a mile!
simply preposterous he just had a poor game. anyone with the amount of skill as him, and he can skip past players - doesn't get 'found out'. i've NEVER seen wes hoolahan use his right foot for anything other than standing on and he's never been 'found out' because he's a cracking little player, just as snodgrass is. talking complete crap again in fact, by your concept, lionel messi has been 'found out'.
I have seen him a few games, twice with you this season and he always fails to impress. yes players can be one footed, i'm not saying that, but when it becomes predictable the whole team suffers. Hoolahan plays in a postion in the centre where he can get away it, the same as messi. If Snotgrass played in the centre, perhaps he would look better, so is it a problem with the manager?
give it up for goodness sake he played well first few games, not so good last two. bloody hell - sell him.
this post is not for guru's benefit. he's had enough posts devoted to him for one day! i have said since day one that i'd like to see a 4-5-1 as it means round pegs in round holes. this is a formation which would help snodgrass and pilkington too as it would mean less defensive responsibility. i said elsewhere i believe hughton wanted to play this way from minute one but because of the fulham match and consequential games afterwards playing two up which worked well, he's not used that desired tactic. this would be the best way forward in my opinion: ruddy e. bennett - bassong - r. bennett - garrido fox - tettey snodgrass - howson/hoolahan - pilkington holt this gives the side the best balance both going forward and defensively. we'll have more width, we'll keep the ball better, we'll win it back quicker and we'll be able to attack in numbers. our full backs (including bennett as i think he'd be a revelation there) can attack without worrying about having no cover behind them as we'll have both fox and tettey who can cover. tettey can bomb forward, box to box, howson can play in his best position. #winning
Chin up lads. We got stuffed big time last season by our two arch enemies Fulham and Chelsea in a far worse performance than yours on Saturday. Its still early ddors, anything can happen. I do think this season no-one will do a Wolves and lose touch, but there will be 5 - 6 clubs all within a gnats chuff of each other. Edgy, nervy times. My only view on Hughton is that he does appear to be more conservative than Lambert was and hence you seem to invite teams onto you but otherwise I'll maintain hes a decent bloke and manager. If we dont spank the Hammers tonight expect total meltdown on the QPR board.
So one full game on the TV and highlights, and you think that's a fair way to judge a player? Maybe you should get yourself a job as chief scout at Portman Road as that seems to be your clubs way of buying players.
could have done with turner doing that at the other end! still can't believe that didn't go in. he was genuinely on the flippin' goal line!!!
can't really remember much about the west ham game as the 2nd half made me want to scratch out my brain, but i seem to recall snodgrass having a fairly decent 1st half at least, getting some decent balls in, but when the ball spends 90 minutes in the air its not easy for the flair players to get involved anyway. nothing can be drawn from the west ham game - it was dreadful to watch. god knows how the hammers fans put up with it.
not being funny Carra, but you don't miss alot of action on football first. but i have seen enough to suggest that he won't be standout in the premiership. BTW, how much have you seen from us for you to make an informed judgement on our season, as you have been banging on about it for the past month that we will go down?
funny, cos i think most people who have seen him think he will be one of the standout signings this summer for the whole division. i've already seen enough of him to think he's one of our key players and for £2.5m you won't get much better value for money, whereas you seem to think he'll fail cos he only uses his left foot. not a great assessment really if i'm being honest.
it's funny guru, because i've seen comments from both neutrals on not606, and from pundits, that snodgrass will do well in the Premier League. either way, it's still too early to make that call
Good job we don't do that about you boys, we would all be thinking that you will win the champions league next season!
thanks wba 2 qpr 3. we've only got chelsea up next and then Aresenal, so no respite in this league. Good luck tonight vs the cockneys.
