Despite never being a "booer" it gets on my nerves people having a massive go at those who do. Whether its constructive or not they pay their money and can do whatever they like. Tell them to stay away if you think that would work but without them the crowds wouldnt be what they are
i don't know how I feel right now. I'm still on a high from yesterday's turn-around. Euphoric - yes. What I don't know is how much is due to MON coming, and how much to Bruce going. When Ellis announced that he'd done the deed on Bruce, it was like a dark cloud had lifted. Bruce had had two bad Springs out of two, and the possibility of a third from a starting position of 17th was very scarey. December came in, and time was running out. I really was desperate to be rid of Steve Bruce. Martin O'Neill? - I don't know how I feel about him. I think he's got a track record that Steve will never have, and at least we've got a good chance of avoiding the drop now. I don't think it'll be by much - we left it too late to hope for a good season. But if Ellis had delayed any longer, I really would have feared the worst. So I'm happy. What for? - who cares. We can sort that out later.
Must admit i really thought it would be not much difference between MON and Hughes, but with one batch of subs MON has shown more than bruce has in a season so im very pleased we have him, especially on 92 minutes yesterday, friggin fantastic result!!!!
It's amazing what modern drugs can do these days Siddall. I had a heart attack in February and spent a week in hospital where they put me on to some heart drugs. I feel like a new man now and have never had a problem since. I hope things work out the same for you. All the best. "Howay The Lads"
Not my first choice either but, he was the best of the bunch that were mentioned. 1 game is not the way to decide in my opinion, he'll get as said on another thread this season to keep us up, next to rebuild and the season after to do something. Then would be the time to decide.
So basically, you're saying it will be May 2014 before you admit or not if he is a good manager? Christ, you're a hard man to please. I Bet Mrs Talc is a frustrated woman. Lol If he were to win a cup during this time, or get a top 7 or 8 finish, would that bring forward your favourable opinion?
Apple Pie - O'Neill would feel ill if he wore a suit. He is much more at home wearing Ryan Nobles old scruffy Tracksuit (anybody else notice that?)
