You do realise that this gets more tedious by week? Di Canio is in talks with the Mackems. Risky move.
I would agree Fez, Mackems have always come across ok to me, I'd much rather Newcastle and the twat that manages them get relegated, although that would probably do away with a guaranteed 6 points for us!
I'm not sure getting rid of MON for Di Canio is the right move. Di Canio has great passion for the game but was managing a league 1 club only a few months ago and is a bit of a loose cannon to say the least. Di Canio may well have taken a championship job in the summer but the premier league seems a bit of a big step, especially when you're first task is to keep a team in the league.
Yes. Suggest you raise the issue with those who keep raking it over and are unaware of our history rather than those of us who merely state the facts.
I said Sunderland were crap a couple of months back and got greif for it....looking at their up coming fixtures they look pretty close to ****ed to me. I don't think any manager will get them out of this mess unless they get a huge amount of luck
SB did an OK job at Sunderland, it was obvious a certain element of their fans had expectations higher then their capability. It just goes to show as with Wolves, getting rid of an experienced manager who is doing OK, in most cases is not always the right cause of action.
You manage to get it into every other post just to wind people up. As with your other pet topic, Humberside, things have moved on now.
You reckon ? You wait till we get promoted and some journo comes out with "They'll be celebrating on Humberside tonight.." and the usual history/geography dunces will come grunting angrily out of the woodwork.. On that you may depend.
Di Canio will be a revelation there I reckon. He'll ruffle a few feathers, but I genuinely think he's got massive potential, and he throws himself in 100%. Inspired change if you ask me, MoN wasn't cutting it.
