You missed the kick in the back on Brana, and the two penalty shouts even the biased plonkers at Sky called. You're as bad a judge as the referee you are defending.
So calling the decision a mistake, that it was a horror tackle, that the ref is a repeat offender, and (in another thread) saying the Burnley player was out of order and that Matic was harshly done by is classified as "defending" the ref? Or have you simply taken offence to the suggestion that Atkinson has given a dodgy decision in Chelsea's favour in the past? Comes across as more than a bit paranoid.

Neither paranoid nor offended, it takes a lot more than comments like that to cause offence. Simply stating the obvious, that Atkinson is an incompetent , biased and arrogant referee who gave the worst refereeing performance of this and many other seasons. A performance that certainly cost us 2 points, our best player for 3 games, and could be the difference at seasons end. If you can't see that, there's not a lot of credibility for you on this site.

Don't accuse a referee of bias. That's ludicrous. By all means say he's incompetent, ****, shouldn't be refereeing in the PL etc but to call a referee biased just because they had a **** day is petty. Not to mention completely unfounded. Are you Mourinho in disguise?
My comments are restricted to your statement that Atkinson has "helped" us in the past. He has never helped anyone except Utd in his whole career, except by making blunders. My complaint about Atkinson covers a series of blunders in this game, not one tackle. At least we can agree he totally bottled / stuffed up the Matic incident, and the punishment for our team is way OTT for the crime.
