I think that confirms us as basket case club of the decade. I'm pretty disgusted tbh. Time for new owners and probably the CEO too. I fear for us next season.
Reading WLS latest update this action if not resolved quickly could put the Club in a gridlock where we can't appoint another Head Coach and MC can't take another job until the situation is resolved. I'm pretty disgusted too.

Is he on gardening leave because we can't afford to, or don't want to, pay him off? I thought he was off to West Brom? I'm confused.

I dont miss him.. defence minded coach with a little knowledge of attacking football. Althought a lot of injuries and without a decent striker but still… never like the way team played..
We have one of the least valuable squads in the league and are playing loads of youngsters because of so many injuries. I reckon he worked wonders, considering.

QPR did not give WBA permission to talk to MC, or so I read. Guess that will change now! I thought we could have got compensation for him, but doubt that now he's effectively been sacked. But it's also rumoured WBA were more interested in a German who's name I forget.

Yes, lots of injuries i’ll give you that. Then again too defence minded for my liking anyway. What about the thing that he made a new contract just last autumn and now he wants to break that with talking to WBA. He is like Beale again!

By talking to WBA Cifuentes has given the club no choice. We don't know what's gone on behind the scenes but the coach has definitely forced the issue with that move and hasn't shown a lot of loyalty or integrity IMO. He may yet come good somewhere but while we have been better organised his time at QPR has been marked by boring football and ludicrous runs of poor results. I just hope the club have planned for this eventually and have a succession in mind but listening to the mood music I doubt it sadly.

I'm not quite sure this is quite comparable to the Beale situation but then again we don't know all the facts. My personal opinion (just guess work) is that Marti realises he can't do much more with this team that seems to have been constructed for him by people within the club whilst those same people think that he's not done enough with what they've provided him. Is he looking after his own interests? Can you blame him? He already stated that he wants to give us fans a better than lower table finish next season, insinuating that his hands are tied. What would really be helpful is a club statement stating exactly what is going on. We could literally be heading into next season with Morrison as our only defender! (I don't count JCS as a player anymore).

Gardening Leave - Definition - When a manager is not wanted but cannot afford to be sacked.

Summary - We have no club garden to tend to, so surely that means Marti is not on gardening leave. Maybe he’s on medical leave for Haemorrhoids cause the club seem to be acting like assholes, if rumours are true.

Next QPR manager odds (selected):

John Terry 14/1
Sean Dyche 16/1
Neil Warnock16/1
Wayne Rooney 20/1

Who's your favourite?

I'd put big money on it being none of those

Well yeah, I did say 'selected'. They are in the list, but no one could think they're realistic possibilities.

Gary O'Neil is favourite at 5/1, but he's also odds-on to be next Norwich manager. Bookies love these situations.
