What's the problem? In Nourry we trust. He knows the transfer window does not open till June and closes on 1st September. He also knows how to buy and sell the players we need a few years down the line and some patched up ones for now, how to run a football club, how to get us performing to our full potential and the goal scorers we need who will score like Harry Kane, Mo Salah or Chris Woods all for tuppence ha'penny. Still waiting for the next press conference to announce that we've secured the so-called services of 'sick note' Salter for yet another year.
If that wasn't sad enough with Rooney scrapping the barrel, See The Mole talk about QPR really chaffed the buttcheeks. How depressing ............... The board talking with managers with no record, no desire & no experience........... QPR Board - "What can you bring to QPR?" Prospective Manager - " I am willing to work for nothing & I want no budget or new players. QPR Board - "Can you keep us up with no investment?" Prospective Manager - Absolutely! QPR Board - "You hired!"
Has anybody seen or read anything about the allegations against Cifuentes.? The board professes to be open in its communications with the fans. Or does that only extend to the good news. Has anybody seen or read anything from the club at all about the search for a new manager?
CLEVERLEY TO QPR Tom Cleverley is reportedly close to becoming the next QPR manager following the R’s putting Marti Cifuentes on gardening leave. Cleverley was sacked by Watford following the Hornets finishing in 14th. Tom was loved by the Watford fans - many who were angry when his departure was annouced. Tom is now just 2/5 to get the QPR job with Pierre Sage at 8/1. Thoughts? #qpr #efl #eflchampionship
Have to say the two latest tips are seriously underwhelming, both were expected to challenge for play-offs with much stronger squads and failed miserably. If we take on either we're just joining the merry-go-round of the failed bang average rather than something different...
Watford weren’t. Fans, at least those I know, were very pessimistic about the season but that was due to the board. They rate Clevers and say he was let down badly by those above which should suit him perfectly here.
Certainly from what I saw from our two matches against them last season we should have had all six points, not a great recommendation...
Just exchanged texts with a Watford supporting mate...he said Cleverly was building something good at Watford, and turning negative players into good, attack minded, footballers. The problem was that their owners aren't interested in building anything long-term, and they want to get Watford back to the Premiership ASAP then cash out and take the profits. He reckons Cleverly will develop a Man Utd style 'mentality of only winning is enough' and he'll get better and better as a coach. Couldn't be more positive really.
It’s not inconceivable that Marti and Christian sort out their differences and he stays. I’m guessing highly unlikely but stranger things have happened. As long as it’s not Tim Sherwood.
Can't say I'm inspired by the Cleverly link I too thought Watford were poor when we played them Feels like a bit of a cheap cop out
He's a mid-table championship manager. That is actually a step up from our normal end of season position.
