Last Night Sky Sports news announced he was fit for opening game v Blackburn.

Wouldn't it have been better if the club kept this schtum to discourage suitors.

By announcing he is fit and raring to go aren't they encouraging offers???

Just a thought

He's happy with us and doesn't want to go.

The club have said they want £15m for him. I wonder if a cheeky £10m would turn their head?

But Spurs have signed Vorm, Arsenal have signed the Columbian keeper and Southampton want Forster from Celtic so not many other Prem clubs, who could afford him, in the market at the mo.

I think he's a keeper (no pun intended) not a leaver.

Whiffle - everyone knows what Marshall is about whether he plays right now or not. A simple dislocated finger isn't going to put any club off that's got a mind to go after him.

Marshall has said he doesn't want to go and doesn't have to having just signed on till 2017. He likes it in Cardiff and his family is well settled, but we all know how that can change. Le Fondre came here from Reading where he said much the same thing before and after his transfer.

if he`s fit then why not state he`s fit, after all its us that want positive news and we have had some when we here our keeper is foaming at the mouth 2 start the season.................so not sure any illusions are needed tbh butty, if another club wants him then he has a price that they need 2 meet.
