My expectation on Sunday was that we would almost certainly lose, but that, if United were off the game and we played to our best, we might nick a point. The problem was not the result, it was the manner of the defeat.
BTW....I didn't tell you or anyone else what they should do. I offered an opinion which is what this board is intended for. Couldn't give a toss if you don't agree but at least try and understand the purpose of this forum. As an aside it is an opinion that seems to be shared by the majority on this board and a wide selection of professionals, past & present. Doesn't make it right or suggest I should be doing anyone else's job, I have enough on my plate with my own one (& I have no issue with people expressing an opinion on my performance - it's how the world works in the real world) Sorry if the subtlety of an opinion based forum still escapes you.
