Couple of things.

1) Had Phillips & Cooper not both suffered long term injuries in the same match against Brentford (h) last season we'd have finished comfortably mid table or higher. Injuries happen I get it, but that was a kind of ' sliding doors ' moment for the club, maybe the curse removed by old Gypsy Rose Lee all those years ago still lingers around parts of ER.

2) I'm very interested in the statement yesterday that Marsche would have been sacked sooner if it hadn't been for the persuasive backing of Victor Orta. When was it exactly when they wanted to pull the plug ? I'm guessing in the run up to the Liverpool game so we would have had the WC break to reset and then go again under a new manager. We must now regret not taking that action as most of the other teams have already changed managers and we're now left playing catch up.
I know he is an emotional guy but I have to say his behaviour on the pitch after the Brentford game was over the top for me, holding Marsche and pointing at him in an almost demonic way in front of our fans almost as if to say "I told you so". Maybe he backed his horse a little too hard and would have looked a twat changing his mind so soon afterwards?

Still believe if we escape this season (and it is looking more like that is going to have to be the case than coasting away from trouble) we won't look back. I just hope, whoever is appointed now stays regardless of the outcome and is backed even if the worst comes to the worst. Relegation would require a lot of holding nerveability if we want to give ourselves the best chance of bouncing straight back.

There’ll be no murals painted of Marsch on gable ends round Leeds
Maybe the odd one in some derelict
Park bog
Someone” has really screwed up this time but we will never know just like we will never know who really got rid of Marcelo

Ok i have kept this info as long as i could and i have the answer you seek. You wanted to know who got rid of Bielsa. It was himself due to his tactics at prem level. Good championship manager but once again did not succeed at a higher level.

Just remind me where did we finish 1st season in the prem

;)
So we finished 9th
17 words when 1 digit would have answered the question:)
Same place, 5 more pts and +8 goal difference for us. I'll concede they were far superior at getting relegated!
Top 6 would have been memorable. Brighton and Fulham have done well and i feel the owners have failed the club last 18 months.
