Bielsa was sacked when we were 16th in the league, even though he had 50% injuries and having to square peg. Marsch came in and made the football crap but he managed to keep us up… just. We are now worse than when he took over and that takes some doing with a fit squad. He brings nothing but confusion with his tactics and team selections. He talks a good game but so did Steve Evans We are now bottom of the league on 9 points from 11 games which is 0.8 points per game. The bare minimum required is 1 point per game average and over the past 8 games we have won 2 points which is only a 0.25 points per game average. The trajectory is spiralling out of control and the board should act now
MOT News Article: He was sacked by RB Leipzig after not spending much time there and he only just kept Leeds up last season without really seeing any improvement on what Marcelo Bielsa did. He can call in Red Bull favours, scream at officials and say the right things in front of the cameras. But tactically, it’s inept and we’re constantly losing games because Marsch simply cannot get this defence to keep out stupidly simple goals.
Are we all in favour of Dyche then ? I'll take him as he's available and knows the English game inside and out. Just get Liverpool out of the way first and then give him a coupe of games before the break for the WC. Sack Marsche now though...Jacko can take us to Anfield on Saturday.
Absolutely not. Don't want Dyche. He ain't making Bamford better. He ain't making Firpo better. The answer is really simple. Scoring goals wins you matches.
We need to tighten up at the back as well though and stop shooting ourselved in the foot by giving possession away when we're wide open. How many could Fulham have scored today if they were actually any good...6 or 7 maybe.
Disagree. That’s what we said before Bielsa joined, you can’t polish a turd but he made it shinier than ****.
Agree but playing with 10 men behind the ball and hoping to score from a set piece every now and again won't work with this squad. It would be a disaster.
Dyche would at least get the defence organised. I think some are believing we have a world class squad capable of playing pretty football, swift passing, defence splitting through balls and neat one twos.
That was playing on the break to a set pattern that was drilled in to the squad by Bielsa. Breaking at pace and with numbers. Under Dyche it would hit it anywhere up the pitch and hope Bamford or Rodrigo can win a free kick.
It just might stop us conceding so many. We’ve got to do one or the other, start scoring or let less goals in. I’m guessing that the latter might be easier
I wonder if this is an omen re. Jesse. (Yes, he'd be the pigeon) Happened just now outside the window. Shame I couldn't open the shutters more than about half-inch to get a decent shot.
