Interesting what you say about Sexton, Nines. Maybe he was a dour bloke, but he got us playing the best and most attractive football I ever seen QPR play by a mile. Terry Venables was very good too. I don't really know who would be best now, there are many choices, most of whom would be a big improvement on what we have.

I'm with you on that mate and i think he assembled one of the best England teams ever. Had it not been for Beckhams "incident" i think we would have done well...! Swindon also did ok under him.. Shame he has to open his mouth in public though !
I heard him speaking about football on a radio interview. To get an inside view on his take on the game and how it should be played was sheer joy. I wouldn't mind him at the Rangers if he could just drop the spiritual stuff. He would fit the bill IMO. He does need the right players to play it his way though. But in saying that, doesen't every manager? Good call silent bob.
TBF, I think he's probably got the majority of the squad required to play his way, already here. We aint excatly Stoke and we're at our best playing "proper football" on the floor. We've got a bit of steel in midfield and would prob only need to sort the defence out. The thing that would make most of you / us happy would be that you could almost gaurantee he'd play Tarbs, Gran, Faurs & Hoillett to start every game!! That alone would be worth the entrance money if he could get them playing together..I think he prob could... Top shout !
That is also a great shout. How about Tarbs and Hoilett up top and just attack. No defensive duties. We need to keep the opposition on the back foot. Something we haven't done yet this season and should of v W.Ham and Spurs to name but two. With these two working in tandem we would scare the life out of any defence and let's us have more options of protecting whats behind them. Good shout QL.
Miljan Miljanic, Tremendous attacking manager who never quite got the success he deserved. Bit like us. Would be cheap as well compared to some of the names on here
