I agree with the shout of Lamela. If not him, then someone like Griezmann (his goal yesterday was brilliant). He might not be the biggest name but he's a quality young talent. At this stage though I just don't feel like we will be getting a marquee signing. If our owners were committed to spending big on a player surely we would've done that by now? I think we'll get a back up centre half (Ilori) because of Coates' injury and a cheap-ish attacking option to bolster the squad (Tom Ince/Scott Sinclair type) and then that'll be us done for the transfer window.

We don't need a Marquee signing. We need a signing along the lines of our January buys. Was Coutinho a Marquee signing? NO. But he would be now to another team Shrewd business is what we need, and so far we've been just that in the market - shrewd. One more shrewd bit of business and I'll be happy with our squad - to be honest I'm happy with it now. #teamspirit
TBH is Lamela a marquee signing? I've never really seen him play, and he's not a huge name. God goalscoring/assist stats though.
We aren't getting Willian according to my mate. Spuds are prepared to pay more than we value him at, and all Joorabchian cares about is money. Sign the snail at the bus stop because he has pace I don't know: Turan as he's good.

I meant more in the sense we would have sold him and probably not got a replacement in. he is a better option to have as backup than Coates and Kelly, not so much Wisdom though. i want rid of both Skrtel and Coates, but neither will be sold this window, maybe Jan who knows.
