Even the press aren't in agreement. Some say it's expired, some say it runs till the 14th August, and some say it was much higher than £23m. There's even an argument that he might be cheaper now the clause has expired, as the clause essentially meant Everton could refuse to sell him for less, but now if he wants a move they would need to enter into negotiations. It's all very confusing, and no one seems to have a clue outside Fellaini and the clubs.
I think they would if he asked to leave, like an informal transfer request. I don't think he's worth more than that though, but we've waited so long to make any sort of move in the window that he'll wind up costing £30m or something stupid.
forcing their way out is not working for Rooney or Suarez atm we could had been in a better position if we had Cesc or Alcantara still in our radar .. but now we are looking more desperate and Everton may start playing hard ball
Well Rooney hasn't said anything about wanting out. It's all been pure media speculation because he hasn't said anything. I don't know why Saurez hasn't been sold yet, Liverpool are better off without him. If Fellaini were to ask Everton to let him talk to United I'm sure they'd listen. As long as Fellaini doesn't go I the media to make it happen I can't see Everton playing too much hard ball.
tbh Rooney wanted to leave since the end of last season, i think Sir Alex said that, i doubt anything has changed since, am sure he learned his lesson from last time, this is why he didn't went public about it. the fact he didn't played for UTD so far under fake injuries claims is another prove he still want to move out or at least not mentally settled to play... anyway let us see how it goes with Fellaini .. hope we sign him at the end
Tbh Rooney didn't say he wanted to leave, and the club later accepted and admitted that SAF was wrong to say he did.
oh i never knew that .. thanks for correcting me but let us admit there is something is not right with his situation, not sure if he is after a better contract or he really want a move or he is simply not happy
Well more than that is what the player wants. We can offer a decent bid and see how Fellaini reacts. I bet he would love to play for United.
Normally id agree, but if we had sorted this out in June/July we he'd have a full two months to work out a deal. Now we're getting a bit desperate so we'll have to pay more.
