Agree to disagree. Thought they were our two best by a mile though. Either way, we can both agree our play in general was just not good, let alone enough.
Let's be honest as a team we were bad a 3 out of 10 performance. The players that looked better only did so because the rest of the team were so bad, Allen and Johnson in particular. The main blame must rest with the manager for picking a side that looked in trouble from the kick off. Southampton's strength is their midfield and BR played right into their hands by only playing two in the middle and one of them an injured lightweight. This exposed our defence which has not looked that confident this season. The loss was inevitable. All we can hope for is that BR learns from his mistakes, although his faith in Allen as a defensive midfielder suggests not.
