Downing got into some good positions and looked over his shoulder for Johnson who stopped behind him to receive a pass backwards!! no overlap no use of his pace and strength.

Johnson was awful, truly awful

 

As a saints fan I thought Lucas was your best player. Allen your worst, it was almost like he was on our team the amount of times he passed to us!

 

You forgot Henderson

 

Johnson had one of his worst games, i was surprised at times to see the sheer lack of desire in his play, looked like he was disinterested to even be on the field.
He should be benched in the next couple of games, just so he could get his act together. He's been quite awful in the last couple of games.

 

Couldn't agree more. We had Wisdom on the bench and he was that bad today that I'd have hooked him.

Almost agree, except I can't think of one attack from our left. I would say Enrique was. I'm going to just say this was a recoil from all the effort we put into Tottenham, we blew our load there, and this was a game we weren't ready for. I'll expect us to be better next week, all I can do.

 

I'd be inclined to say Lucas was our best player despite only playing the second half
