    Was it Jesus Gil who sacked 6 managers in one season once? I think he did Raddy Antic twice!

    Yeah, I thought Hughes was OK too. On the point about players reaching their potential then leaving, I don't think that's allowed in the script anymore. :)

    You know who deserves an honorable mention on this thread;
    Jim Magilton, they would be mad to let him go, wouldn't they. <laugh>

    Given we will be in a relegation battle (but we all suspected that would be the case this season), will Harry's appointment be enough to get QPR out of trouble? Personally I think they're still sunk, just as we were when Harry joined us, but he'll probably make a better fight of it than Hughes has.

    QPR's chairman is filthy rich and quite prepared to splash the cash. For reasons stated elsewhere in this thread, this might not save QPR this season, but, if they are relegated there may be a few players going cheap in the Summer and I wouldn't bet against Harry rebuilding a squad in the Championship and getting promoted as champions in 2012/13, presuming he hasn't jumped ship by then.

    Positives for us: We've already played QPR and taken a maximum off them - hopefully they can nick a few points from our relegation rivals.

    'Harry Redknapp to attend QPR's game at Manchester United tomorrow. Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan set to join backroom staff #SSN' - Harrys dedicated disciples follow him wherever he may go.

    I think everyone would agree that Redknapp will probably do a better job than Hughes, but his record isn't flawless, how well he will do with you remains to be seen.

    Not convinced Arry will save Rangers. He'll spend a lot of money trying though!

    Makes you laugh at all the media hype surrounding QPR since last Saturday, you would have thought they were one of the biggest clubs in Europe with all the coverage they have had! Typical of the media favouring London clubs.

    I hate the way the media suck up to 'arry more than I dislike the man himself. They fawn over him (because he is good for a quote) nearly as much as they creep round Ferguson.

    I would piss myself laughing if QPR remain bottom of the league for the whole season. Wonder what QPR fans would think of him then!

    I really think he will struggle to keep them up! He can't buy until Jan. Zamora long term injury etc. Where are the goals coming from?

    That's the main problem he will have until January. His main hope is Cisse but he's bound to be sent off at least once between now and January.

    I expect the FA to give Good Old Harry a special dispensation to bring in new players...after all rules don't apply to him (I hope that didn't come out all bitter).

    It seems to me that QPRs problem wasn't really with the manager, more with their transfer policy. They seemed to be buying anyone and everyone who had a half decent name and have ended up with a team full of ageing players only there for their wages. So unless Redknapp invests in some more motivated players I think they'll go down.

    That's 100% accurate in my book ... Hughes doesn't suddenly become a bad manager overnight
