I just want to make one point here.

Rodgers is messing up every player he has... bar of course jonhson who plays every game <whistle>

You all know ithink lallana aint up to it as he is too light weight BUT... the guy had one decent showing then rodgers threw him in the next game... next thing? no sign for the next two. How can a plyer possible gain any form or momentum like that.

Now its markovic.. one 15mins then he's thrown in again last night... prob won't be seen til bournemouth and prob then not at all for weeks

    Can can't get in.

every time manquillo or moreno get in they are out again the next game!

the result is nobody knows who is playing, or where and nobody knows where to play it. rodgers is dicking about and messing things up without a clue what he wants to do or see.

    Well said.

The man is losing the plot and wants to stick to his 'tried and tested' players. He has no faith in any of the new signings. Needs to start trusting them more.

I'm pretty sure he mostly played RW in Portugal last season. Markovic himself says he prefers LW so he can cut in on his right foot.

To me he looks like a player who would benefit from having freedom to roam, like Sterling.

He plays as inside forward or centrally.

Rodgers sticks him out on the wing like a traditional winger which isn't his game. Last night was a bit different, and we saw what we can do when drifting more centrally.

He should be starting IMO - I know it's only cameos but I have no faith in our attack bar Sterling and Coutinho.

Agree with both your points lad. Marko reminds me - and you'll piss yourself at the comparison - of how Ronaldo was when he first arrived at Utd... No. End. Product. If he can add that to his game and control himself better, both on runs and in discipline, then he might prove a player. But then he could become the new Jonjo Shelvey as well who his mindlessness and headless chicken act is very reminiscent of.

He double clocked him before throwing the arm out though, so how could he have miss judged the height so badly?

It was a stupid decision by him, particularly given he'd already beaten him and was nearly a yard clear.

A very daft red, but a red nevertheless.

I don't think he cost us. We weren't even close to looking like winning the game until we got that equaliser from a free kick. Never really threatened in open play until we got back to 1-1

Play him Sunday and let him take Rooney's eye out with his little finger.

We'll never know unless we keep persisting with dross like Lambert and Gerrard in attack.

He made 2/3 great runs and showed a few bits of skill in his 15 minute cameo lol. Certainly better than the rest of the **** on pitch. I do think he should start against United I have to say, he was the only thing refreshing about us last night. And that is the only miniscule positive we can take from that game.

  16. I don't think Ryan was lazy, he was disheartened. He was good for us in his first session but Rafa pissed about with him before the fans started to get on his back.

He had already given United a lesson in how good he was going to be by taking them apart in a pre season friendly at 17, just as fabregas did by taking united to the cleaners at 16 in the charity shield.

What has this arm waving speed merchant done so far? Yep, struggle to get into a struggling Liverpool side<ok>

Yep, Lazar only made his international debut at 17, star performer for Partizan at the same age, ply his trade in Portugal to help Benfica win the league, voted one of the best players in Europa League last season - not bad for a 19 year old.

Considering utd play 5-3-2 with Young and Valencia as wing backs, it makes sense to have Sterling and Markovic on the wings getting past them.
