Yes, another loan signing but at least Wilson addresses the right-back problem we have. He will do a job for us at this level, maybe even Prem level. Let's see what happens.

At first I had the same reservations as you Kissa, so I decided to go to a Celtic forum and find out what they thought, and found a couple of quotes:

So if he signs with O'Dea, Townsend, Delph and the reserve keeper we have nearly half a first team made up of reserves, ****ing diabolical.
I wanted Lichaj before Howson was sold and Delph on loan. We know Lichaj can perform in this division for us so if a loan signing I would prefer him but we have the Howson money sitting there so why not a signing. If this is a loan with a chance to sign when his contract is up then that is different..
out of contract is the lad at end of season...celtic supporters rate him but been unlucky with injuries this year

I would rather have signed Lichaj, but talk seems to be that Aston Villa won't let him go, and Wilson is highly rated by Celtic fans so I'm optimistic.
Good news, he's a good, solid player and captain material. Might well be with a view to a permanent. Would work well with Snoddy on the right. Don't see many League 1 teams in Europe giving Udinese a game...
I know and I am sick of them, if we have one it is one too many unless it is a keeper. The sad thing is we could have went this whole season without having to use reserve players IF we had kept Johnson, Gradel and Howson and signed a decent defender or two instead of wasting the little we have on Mikka, Forssell, Pugh (pointing out we would not have required him if keeping the others), Brown, Paynter, O'Dea and shifted out O'Brien and Conolloy.

Surely it would be to replace young Thompson but if he can play across the back line I for one would be eager to put him next to Tom Lees in the middle but is that wise?
Not knowing enough about the lad I cant really gage if its a square peg round hole situation. Either way, we need depth in the right back area so I would take him & see if we cant sign a CB as well.

That was one hell of a game as well sat in a pub in hamilton watching that ......................wilson would be a very good signing !! I am a little bit shocked celtic are letting him go !!!
