haha, don't you remember 'Lawro's league table'? Which became a standing joke as he kept predicting wins every week for his beloved reds. He used to fawn like a love sick school kid over anything 'Kenny' related, & him & Hansen have run the kopite MOTD love in for years. For you lot to be now denying his red bias, based on him spilling a story about Reina, is laughable in it's fickleness.
There is no need to be rude on this board. If you cannot debate in an intellectual and polite manner, then you and your family are not welcome. #HighHorse
You never respond to the content of my posts, you just post "suck me off" & then usually follow that with some abuse. You're the only on who reacts in that manner, & it's pathetic imo. #noneed.
Post something that is worthwhile and I will respond accordingly, as I have done in previous articles. With regards to Lawro, I don't have a problem with him criticising Liverpool as long as he backs it up and doesn't just spout the same, unfounded bullsh1t and jumps off the media bandwagon.
Lawrenson is a bell end & his view is worthless. However, my point was that he's hardly been a fierce Liverpool critic during his comfy career on the BBC sofa has he?
This is too funny. He is reviled across all other boards for his blatant, unmissable Liverpool bias (together with Hansen) and you guys are up in arms over his anti-pool bias. I am frankly shocked that you could think such a thing.
Then I ask you as I asked others, where is this evidence, apart from the fact that he used to play for Liverpool? the last poster I asked pointed to the fact that Mark Bright predicted Liverpool would win the league in January 2011! Lawrenso has NEVER predicted Liverpool would win the league (accurately, it has to be said) and has never missed an opportunity to give Liverpool a good kicking when they're down.
I wouldn't say Lawro is biased either way but, with him being an ex-Liverpool player who won numerous titles at the club, you would think he would stick up for us once in a while. In reality, he's a twat that looks out for number one no matter what the cost, he got paid to do an article for a certain tabloid too Hansen IS biased but he openly admits it, especially on MOTD!!!
He went over six months predicting we wouldn't LOSE in the 2008/9 season, the problem being that a series of draws cost us the league. Think we did only get beat 4 or 5 times that season. Overall though, and that analysis of the Man U home game exemplifies it, he twists the knife - especially when it involves his boyhood club - at every opportunity.
He can be a decent poster when he wants to be but he is ultimately here on a WUM. He's been better recently but I believe he was also being 'watched'
We lost twice that season, but drew 11, which cost us, especially as just two of those as wins would have secured the title.
I don't think the problem is his bias, or lack of bias, the problem is the fact he is ultimately a poor and lazy pundit. Gary Neville rarely ever 'sticks up' for Utd, and is happy to stick the knife in if we are poor. But Neville does it in an insightful and analytical way, whereas Lawro just trots out the same tired old cliches and talks bollocks. His predictions are the worst - over the last few years I think he has always predicted one of the top teams to finish on 100+ points which is a classic example of lazy 'the favourite will win' punditry. Tho' I do think you are overreacting a bit bow - the Reina rumour has been in the tabs for a month now, and Lawro mentioning it is hardly going to unsettle him, any more than it will unsettle Ba, Lescott, Balotelli, Baines, Fellaini, Bent, Lampard or any of the other standard targets Lawro trots out in predictably wide of the mark fashion.
