Sorry to hear about Warnock leaving, he was a miserable old ****e but a great personality and I thought he deserved this transfer window at least.

On the subject of Sparky - you'd better hope you match his "ambition". But then, Barca or Real Madrid will probably be coming in for him at the end of the season, so you'd best leave it.

Seriously though, the man is an arrogant **** who did little as a manager. Why do you think Sunderland and Villa overlooked him?

I don't want the twat, he'll either take us down and be **** in the championship or keep us up and then **** off to villa or Toon (whichever one that doesn't get Lambert)

Steve Bruce is definitely not the right choice in my opinion - his final Sunderland games he resembled a shattered man, physically & mentally.

Not saying it's feasible, but I'd love to see Guus Hiddink take charge.

If that did happen he'd have the lowdown on Chelsea for the cup game. Little chance though...

    :cheesy:

Hughes has done a decent job with Blackburn and Fulham, clubs of our size. Of all the names banded around I'd take him over most.

Ay, Hughes has PL pedigree. Did well with Rovers on a fairly limited budget, as at Fulham.

Brucie? - Forsyth would be a better choice. As for Huge Mark- bad luck if he signs.

Any chance of Zola? - sounds more like it to me.

Here's a thought: If Hughes does come to LR, then would THAT help us get Samba, Yakubu and Howitt?

I don't think Yak and Hoilett have ever played under him, so I doubt it would make a difference to them.

Half the team that put Blackburn below us, well it will definitely **** up them only trouble is we still need to avoid the other two spots.

I see his overall win rate is 41%. 46% at Man City but only 32% at Fulham. Is that enough? Probably, I guess.

Mark Hughes signed samba when he was at blackburn (He also signed SWP when he was at man city). May not be such a bad appointment.
