But you won't even be able to give them away. We're still stuggling to get rid of players that are on less than £20k/w, so what chance of you got of getting rid of players with Barton's off field record when he's on the wages he's on.

Methinks that our resident "God", Tony Fernandes, made a bit of a boo boo.

i know, which is why Ive said from the start its ludicrous to by players aged 29-31 because they only want one last fat contract and we will never be able to offload them.
If for example we got Rhodes instead of Zamora, wed still be able to flog him on if needed.
Our only hope is Barton and SWP really dont want to play in the NPC.

I feel for Tony, he backed his Managers to the hilt since he came in and both have let him down. He gambled and lost though and that's the business we're in.

It's not necessarily age, although it obviously doesn't help. McShane for example has only just turned 26, as hard as it is to believe he's not in his 30s.

    How?

Only the players can be blamed in my opinion.

The Hughes situation is a weird one - I don't think he has the resolve, know-how or the desire to get you back up if you did go down...but if you go down, I can't imagine anyone touching him with a barge pole...for me this is hughes's last chance at being a decent manager - whether he knows it or not - I'll be sad if you do go down - you've become my favourite banter type rivals over the last year and a half - and more than anything just think you guys deserve a break..I'd known you had it tough for a while but probably didn't realise the extent until watching the 4 year plan...
